Year 5 Stop Motion Animation Workshop

Today, we enjoyed a computing workshop all about stop motion animation. We began by manually drawing images on a wad of paper and watched our animations come to life when we flicked through the pages! Then, we used a program called Flip Kit to bring 2D stop motion animations to life on an iPad. Next, we created Wallace and Gromit style claymation using playdough and an app called Stop Motion Studio. Finally, we put all of our skills to use to create a sports themed stop motion animation using lego and the Stop Motion Studio app. We had a lovely day in the hall despite the heat wave and luckily all the iPads survived! Here we are creating our stop motion animations.
