Making houses in Year 2 Elm

In Year 2 Elm, we have been learning about The Great Fire of London. The fire started in a bakery on Pudding Lane and spread quickly through the Tudor-era houses because they were so close together and made from wood. We had a go at making Tudor-era houses using junk modelling, as these were the most common types of houses in London in 1666. We found out that glass was so precious in the 17th century, that when people moved house they often took their windows with them!
