Making houses in Year 2 Elm

In Year 2 Elm, we have been learning about The Great Fire of London. The fire started in a bakery on Pudding Lane and spread quickly through the Tudor-era houses because they were so close together and made from wood. We had a go at making Tudor-era houses using junk modelling, as these were the most common types of houses in London in 1666. We found out that glass was so precious in the 17^th century, that when people moved house they often took their windows with them!
