Y3 Exploring Shadows

Y3 have been exploring shadows, thinking about what everyday objects can cast a shadow. We learnt the meaning of opaque, transparent, and translucent and used them in our conversations and observations. In addition, we explored how shadows change size depending on the distance from the light source.
