Fun Run

We are so lucky to have so many parents giving up their time and energy to help fund-raise for Project Playground.

On Saturday I got to see a particularly amazing example of this.

Popping into Currys on the Old Kent Road is one of my favourite things to do. I'm aware Currys sell treadmills but, to be honest, I would usually spend more time looking at cameras.

However, on Saturday one treadmill - just inside the entrance - did catch my eye as one of our brilliant parents, James, was running on it from 9.00am to 7.00pm! 

The 67km (yes - you read that correctly) James ran on Saturday is but a warm-up for the 100km he is running on the 17th May when he will be taking part in an Ultra Trail run in the Snowdonia mountains. All to raise funds for Project Playground.

James, thank you so much for your incredible dedication to the cause, it is really appreciated.
