Take One Picture in Pine 🎨

We have been finishing our placards for the Take One Picture project, we’ve continued to explore our class question inspired by the painting: “how do you welcome the shipwrecked ashore?” The children then created their own short slogans which they have painted onto a wooden backdrop. Each child chose their own flag, symbols and decoration that matched the theme of their sign. Looking at the spice route, we decided that perhaps the children were Mauritian islanders, so many have painted the vibrant colours of the Mauritian flag onto their placard.
