Posted by It’s art week and we are completing this year’s Take One Picture project. We’ve been studying the painting A Shipwreck In Stormy Seas by Claude-Joseph Vernet. First we completed some mini sketches; we then annotated the painting with ideas and questions. Today we focussed on using symbols to represent different parts of the painting. We chose our favourite one and finalised the design. Some of us have started carving our designs into printing foam. Keep your eyes on the blog to see what we do next.
