Posted by It was so so lovely to be able to invite parents into school yesterday to say goodbye to our amazing Year Six children.
We held the assembly outside and as usual it was a special event that combined both laughter and tears as we all reflected on the journey they had been on throughout their time at Ashmead.
At the end of the assembly we kept our tradition of lighting a candle and wishing the children well as they embark on their next adventure at secondary school.
We made a promise to them that we would light it again in our first assembly back at school after the summer break.
We will miss you Year Six but a part of you will always be at Ashmead and we hope a bit of Ashmead will always be with you. ❤️
