Y6 leavers’ assembly

Posted by

So yesterday we said goodbye to our amazing Year 6 class after what has been the most strange year.

It was so lovely to see everyone and celebrate (in a socially distanced way) with the children and parents.

There were some traditions that we had to do a little differently, the t-shirts has to be signed on tables instead of whilst being worn and there were no handshakes or book presentations but we still read memories for every child and acknowledged what an amazing class this Year 6 are.

We look forward to seeing you next term when you come back to visit us and show us your new school uniform.

We will light the candle again in September in our first September assembly (which will probably be by Zoom!) and wish you well on your secondary school journey.

Good luck, you are the epitome of our vision, leaving us knowing you are both loveable and capable.

We will miss you.
