Dear parents and carers,
These are clearly unprecedented times and there is so much happening at lightning speed, it makes me dizzy trying to keep up and understand what is happening. It is confusing for us all but especially so for our children.
In these times, more than ever, the safety of ourselves, our families and each other is ever so important.
The school has continued to follow the national scientific and medical advice rigorously and will continue to do so. We are trying to ensure that we are doing the right thing to keep everyone safe.
We know that closing the school will hinder education and social development. This is painful for us to see. But keeping everyone safe is our first priority. The school are focusing on ensuring that we support the most vulnerable in our community during this coming period.
The Ashmead community is incredibly supportive and caring and during these challenging times, we will pull together to keep us all safe.
