Y1 trip to St John’s church

This afternoon Y1 visited St John’s church to complement the work we have done in class about the features of a church. 

Peter told us the story of The Good Samaritan and then we looked at the stained glass windows to see the story represented there. 

We also looked at the altar, the lectern, the font and even listened to a few notes on the organ.
