Ashmead Coronation Exhibition, Our Process – Lime Class

We began by closely examining the invite our idea would be based around. We wanted to find the themes chosen by King Charles hidden in the patterns bordering the invite. We discussed symbolism and thought about why objects or images might have different meanings. We decided this might be depend on cultural significance and how an individual might perceive things due to their experience. We then moved on to thinking about things that we cared a lot about and how we would represent them as an item or image. See if you can work any of them out in our final images!
