Posted by As part of our geography topic investigating Rivers, Pine enjoyed a fantastic morning exploring the Thames foreshore at Greenwich. We conducted scientific tests looking at the pH of the river to see how polluted it was, we examined the levels of sediment in the river and then searched the shore for historical evidence of how people have used the river. We found countless bones, a 500 year old pipe and an animal jaw!
