We talked about all the celebrations planned to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the fact that she has been queen for 70 years, the first British monarch to reach this milestone.
Did you know, jubilees have been celebrated since the 1300s! In Lewisham over 100 roads will be closed at some stage over the bank holiday weekend with street parties celebrating the jubilee!
We linked the Jubilee to the British value of Individual Liberty, everyone has their own responsibilities and duties. Part of these are how we choose to behave and act. We are all responsible for our own actions.
