Posted by For geography week this week we have focused on mapping Ashmead’s school grounds. First we used Digimaps and Google maps to find Ashmead school and other local landmarks (like St John’s station and Friendly Gardens). Then we looked at our school using Digimaps and tried to add our own landmarks.
We worked as a team to think about when the tree top walkway, office, our classrooms would be. Then, we started work on our own individual maps. We used a key to colour code different areas.
