Posted by In our first assembly of the year we always remember the children who have left Ashmead, and we send our Y7 children best wishes for their secondary school journeys.
When we say goodbye to the Year Six children in the summer we light a candle and make them a promise that we will relight the candle during our first assembly in September.
We kept our promise and we wished them well. There will always be a little part of them at Ashmead and we hope there will always be a bit of Ashmead in them.
